We do not smoke and you will never share a car during your driving lessons, all training is one to one. We regularly review pupil’s progress and unlike many driving schools in Bristol, we can adapt the training to suit the individual’s needs in unique ways.
At Chequers Motoring School Bristol, we have a strict no shouting policy. As a driving instructor who is in control of the driving lesson, there is no need to shout at the pupil. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed environment in which to enjoy learning to drive at your pace, but don’t be confused into thinking it is all laid back because we do make pupils work hard during their lessons.
All Chequers driving instructors - male & female - are DSA approved. They are governed by the Chequers Code of Practice and have been CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked for your safety.
We keep up to date pupil records and plan each lesson in advance to get the best out of the time spent in the car. We try to give the maximum time driving allowable during each driving lesson.
The most important part of the training you will receive from Chequers Motoring School Bristol, is that we don’t just teach you the skills needed but explain why you need them.
We have seen too many pupils who have transferred to us from other driving schools, who don’t understand why they are doing something during their driving lessons.
