Jeff was absolutely fantastic, very chatty (beware of 2nd lesson before your test, as he won't speak), polite, flexible and very reasonable. Passed first time, thanks Jeff!!!! Matt
By: Matthew Deakins-Woodward on 11/7/2008wey hey rob!!!!! - ok it happened to be my second test but the extra time that i had in lessons were well worth it!!from the first lesson it was fun i had so much fun mostly arguing 2-1 to me on who was right!!! ive been recomending rob to many people because it was so much fun and i have to agree that he is deffinately the best instructer! thank you ill keep driving safely and keep a look out for yah on the roads:)

He was very helpful as he would let me know where i needed to improve and he would explain things very clearly. Also he is just plain funny! I'm really going to miss driving around chatting to Rob. I took a test about 2 years ago and lost all confidence and faith in driving but after being recomended to Chequers I found I quickly picked that back up and even had fun doing it! On 2nd June I passed my test with only 2 Minnors - Thanks Isabel!

She was easy to get on with relaxed and put me at ease everytime i was behind the wheel, I loved the lessons with her and i just wish i had come to Chequers from the start.

He was a really good teacher and put me at ease straight away. After 8 weeks of lessons with Marcus i passed my driving test on the 7th attempt! - am still in shock but really pleased. Couldn't recommend him enough!

Would recommend to anyone, thanks.

I cannot recommend Chequers or Marcus enough! At 30 I thought it would be a real up-hill struggle to learn how to drive after all this time. But Marcus always seemed to find a way to correct any issues and now that I have passed I have so much freedom. Thank you is not enough! A+

What a difference, turned up on time every lesson, no smell of smoke and best of all sorted out my problems in easy to understand lessons. Don't believe all driving schools are the same because they are not. I would recommend Chequers to anyone, they are very good.

You youself made me feel safe at all times and you were just such a nice friendly person, who made learning a fun experience. A few of my friends have learnt to drive with Chequers aswell, they all said they had a fantastic time and the ones i know of passed 1st time.

Driving lessons with chequers are proffesional, they made sure i had maximum driving time within my lessons and even though they felt quick due to the fun relaxed friendship i formed with my driving instructor i could not ask for more than what chequers gave me. They gave me confidence driving and gave lots of helpful tips for my driving test.

It's great to have passed! Chequers has five instructors at the moment, covering a wide area. They have one automatic, a very useful website and a good resource library. They're prompt, flexible and professional - and good value. Try them!

It was extremely clear, with practically foolproof methods of instruction. The teaching from Jeff boosted my confidence no end, and I feel I became a much better driver because of it.
