Your Instructor
I became a driving instructor primarily because I like to meet people. I have been very lucky to have taught some super pupils and I ensure that from the first lesson, everyone appreciates that learning to drive involves some hard work which I try to make as enjoyable as I can. Of course, on ‘test day’, I don’t have the same nerves as my pupils, but when they pass, I share their feeling of great satisfaction. And together, it makes our hard work worthwhile.
I am a keen sportsman and have been involved in playing and managing football and cricket teams at all levels. Coaching youngsters and helping them to develop their potential was a fantastic shared experience although nowadays, I am mostly an enthusiastic spectator. Teaching people to drive isn’t quite the same, but there are definitely some similarities.
